Where . . . . Robots Are Very Educational . . . . & Fun!
What is a RoboRAVE Local RALLY?
- A FREE event that is being held in or near your community for ANYONE** to come and improve your robot knowledge, designs and/or ideas while learning about the RoboRAVE International **(recommended for ages 5th GRADE & up)
- 3 HOURS of open ‘gym’ time to watch, play and/or practice while learning how to be competitive at the next RoboRAVE International – May 2nd, 2009 – Albuquerque Convention Center
- STAY for a while or stay for the whole time – JUST COME to be part of an exciting competition that PAYS MONEY to winning Middle School teams/coaches and High School teams/coaches.
- HELP is offered for Lego NXT & RCX robotics while you meet, share and learn with other players, coaches and veteran staff who know the game. So teachers, parents and players – GET THERE for HELP.
- PLAY on our full size COMPETITION tracks and/or PRACTICE tracks – work in the PIT AREAS - learn about PAYLOAD delivery systems options so you can fit it altogether to compete.
- AVAILABLE at a RALLY will be a limited number of Lego RCX / NXT robots for the public, so if you have OWN materials (robots, laptops with program software) BRING THEM.
- TAKE home information that you can use to get a team involved for our MAY 1-2, 2009 competition at the next RoboRAVE International.
- RALLIES are an Inquiry Facilitators, Inc. program to promote research as a core value
