New ROBOT CHALLENGES are headed your way! Coming to Las Cruces several new challenges will be unveiled to the competitors for the FALL ’08 RoboRAVE International. Bomb Squad? Hazmat Team Bots? On-site Design? Just a little glimpse into the CRAZINESS we’re up to at the NMRRI Hq in Bernalillo. Stay Tuned. Where’s that going to be held? ALBUQUERQUE CONVENTION CENTER on December 6th, 2008. Attend the 4th ANNUAL NM Young Researches Banquet on December 5th and see the RoboRAVE International’s setup EARLY. We’ll be eating right next to the competition area and we’re opening it up to the banquet attendees. |

Fabian and Russ held a workshop at CNM Rm N-214 for a small but very energetic group of sponsors. Veteran RAVER Abe from Bernalillo HS joined two new group representatives – Susan and Joyce from the National Atomic Museum (Albuquerque) and Jenn, Pojoaque’s Boys & Girls Club Tech Director. Congrats to all – Jenn is leading an effort to get her kids into FIRST LEGO LEAGUE in September, 2008 and then have them come to the Fall ’08 RoboRAVE Int’l. We’re here to help! |
