PROCEDURE

1. Create an account with your user name (email), password, and school or organization name and phone number.
2. SUBMIT PAYMENT.
3. After your payment has been received and your information is verified, you'll receive an email saying your account is ready.
4. Then you'll sign in and fill out a form with lots of information (download a PDF worksheet here) including the number, category, and levels of your teams.
5. Then you'll create an account for each of your teams. We'll assign the user names and you'll create the passwords. Just create the number of teams you need right now. You can always sign back in and create some more. Note: Your registration fee covers 10 teams.
6. Finally, your teams can sign in and fill out their information.

Players

1. Get an adult to be your coach and have them get in contact with the RoboRAVE folks. (They can email RAVE@gotoif.org.)
2. Get two or three other students to work with you. Pick hard workers -- you don't want to do everything yourself!
3. Read over all the information on this website. Be sure you understand the different challenges, categories, and the way you'll be judged.
4. Decide on your team name and mascot.
5. Let your sponsor know what challenge and category you want to compete in.
6. Your sponsor will get a user name and password so you'll be able to enter your information on this website. You'll be able to upload pics of your robot and you'll have access to all sorts of extras including code if you get stuck programming your robot.
